AARP Foundation Tax-Aide provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a focus on taxpayers who are over 50 and have low- to moderate-income levels. IRS-certified volunteers assist with tax preparation and electronic filing through multiple service methods, including in-person, drop-off, and virtual assistance. Taxpayers can use the online locator tool to find a nearby physical location, access help with tax law questions, or learn about volunteer opportunities.
